Is Botox safe?
Yes. Botox/Dysport are FDA approved and generally considered to be a very safe (and low risk) cosmetic treatments when administered by a highly qualified, trained healthcare professional. Injections are safe and effective with minimal potential effects like tenderness, headaches, or swelling if the treatment is administered improperly. How does Botox work?
Botox works by temporarily blocking acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter which activates muscle contraction. With these muscles relaxed, the overlying skin becomes smoother, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles that develop over time. Neurotoxins can also help with medical conditions like excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and jaw tension from teeth grinding.
How long is the service?
Injections typically take 30 minutes to complete.
What is the recovery time?
Recovery time is minimal. Most people are able to resume their normal activities without any down time. Patients may experience mild redness, swelling or tenderness that resolves in 1-2 hours. It is recommended that you do avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, hats, scarves and rubbing treated areas for at least 24 hours.
When should you start Wrinkle Relaxers?
We recommend starting wrinkle relaxers in your mid-20’s.
When can I expect results and how long will they last?
It typically takes up to 2 weeks to see the full results of Botox. Most people continue to see results for 3-6 months following their treatment.

After every treatment you can expect post care instructions for the best support and recovery.
